Solar Hot Water Panels
Menri Cow Barn Dolonji, India
Project Completed!! February 2018
$1,500.00
The Anis & School Girls (80) live on the side of a mountain, in Northern India, that receives little sunlight. The winter weather is especially cold without daily sunlight. The base layers will help to keep the women & girls warmer at night and throughout the day.
The solar water panels will help to provide better hygiene for the cows & their caretakers. Electricity is unreliable in this area of northern India. Solar power is clean green electricity. Solar energy is a renewable non-polluting free source of energy that is sustainable.

Lake Phuksundo Cultural Project
Thashung Bon Gompa,
Ringmo, Lake Phuksundo Dolpo, Nepal
Donation $200.00 August 2017
Thashung Bon Gompa was build over 900 yrs. ago to protect the wildlife from hunters. The Gompa was build on the edge of a high rocky wall where the hunters trapped their prey underneath the wall. The “killing ledge” became a “sacred protected ledge” when the Bon Gompa was built to protect the animals. The protected area around the lake is now know as Phuksundo National Park and is an important habitat for endangered species such as the snow leopard, grey wolf, musk deer and blue sheep. The villagers are authentic Bon, which is the indigenous spiritual tradition of Tibet.
